Cycle 4: Task 2

Hello all of you. Task 2 is going to be a task like no other. Thank you to Alex (cinammongirl) for giving me this task idea! Task 2 is a blast into the past. You girls will have to go deep into your pretty little minds, and remember some things.

Task 2:

When everybody first joins Stardoll, the hustle and bustle of everything over whelms us. You take advantage of the one day of Superstar and buy everything in sight, until you have no more money left in your account. I'm sure most of you have been on here for at least a year, and hopefully you all have a good memory because for Task 2, you'll need it.

Task 2 is all about what happened when you first joined Stardoll. What one of the first things that you did was , what you wore, what you bought, etc. This Task isn't one where you can give 50%, you're going to need to give at least 110% if you want to stay out of the bottom two. These are the things that are required:
~A pose
~You medoll doing something that you did when you first got your StarDoll
~An outfit that you first bought
~An accessory that you first bought

If one of the items is new (and you have been on here for more than half a year), you will get many points deducted. Also, the scenery MUST be in the clubs, no where else.

Remember, a Tiny Pic and a description MUST be included, or the scenery will NOT count.

Cycle 4: Task 1 Elimination Ceremony

Hello, there. Before I state how each of you did, I am going to say that I forgot to mention something. Every task MUST be done in the club's scenery. It is easier for all of us to judge. Next task, if the scenery is not in the club's sceneries, it will NOT be counted.

Okay, onto judging those who actually did the task. (:
(in no particular order)

Chocomushroom: I wasn't a very big fan of your scenery. You were assigned to stand out in a daring way. You nailed that, but as for everything else...ehh. The leaves covered your arm, making it seem like there was a random floating hand and elbow. They also covered the hair, and I loved the hair too!
AshelyRoyalice3: For this task, you were assigned to stand out in a sly way. I think this scenery would have been a lot better if you didn't have that neon backround! Most of the judges thought it was too bright, and it would have benefited your scenery if a darker color was used. Also, what's up with the arm? I think it would have been classier if you decided to use your real arm, and maybe place a glove on it, etc.
Cookiezncream1: What happened? Like others, you didn't even do the task! I am going to remind everyone, not just Cookiezncream1, that I will not remind you that you have to do a task. I will post a Top Spot discussion in the club, but I won't go from GB to GB telling you to do the task. The way I'm going to judge those who didn't do the task is I will go to their old sceneries and see how they do. For you, I think you have great potential, and I know what you can do, since you were in Cycle 3.
CandyLoverXOXO: Sadly, you didn't do your scenery either. And you have never created a scenery so it's not looking too good.
SingerDemi: Wow! I absolutely loved it! You were assigned to blend in in a daring way, and you did just that! The clothes and makeup was perfect! However, a pose was needed, so thats where you lost points.
Baracuta1234567: Again, someone didn't do their task....goodness, what have you people been up to? I looked through your old sceneries and I think they are amazing! My favorite is the Good and Evil twins :)
Skooch87: You, as well, didn't do your scenery. I was looking through your old ones, and I noticed that you didn't have a pose in any of them...
Rafi101: Wow! Great, great job! You were assigned to daringly stand out! You seemed to choose the mad hatter in a park look, and it went perfectly!'

Cycle 4: Task 1

Models,

Here at last. The much antisipated Task 1. First off, I would like to say Congratulations to everyone who made it here, and good luck.....all of you will need it.

Fall, on of my favorite seasons of the year. The leaves are changing, candies are given, and thanks are told. The weather is chilly, but hey, its Fall! As we are transitioning into Winter, photoshoots are taking place in forrests, with red, yellow, orange leaves behind the models. The models adorn clothes that make them almost stand out from the forrest, or blend in. Depending on what the message is.

In all of these photos, the models embraced Fall, and that's exactly what you're going to do. I'm going to assign each of you on whether you are going to blend in, or stand out. For example, find a daring way to blend in, or a sly way to stand out. Since this wouldn't be Diamond_VIP without a twist, I'm going to add either daring or sly.

Cycle 4 Rules

Models,

Well, well, if it isn't the start of Cycle 4! Wow! In only ONE year, there has been three Cycles, each crowning a winner:
1) Amy_0202 (Cycle 1)
2) Cinammongirl (Cycle 2)
3) Weisswurst (Cycle 3)
4) ?
Are all of you girls ready to compete for that 4th spot? If not, well, it looks like you're going to have to give 110% because Cycle 4 is going to be a BIG one. :)

Before I tell you the 1st Task, I'm going to say some rules. If you don't follow these, you might not find yourself in the Final Two:

1) Always complete your task on time: If not, you will be eliminated from Cycle 4 immediatly. If you are out of town and do not have access to a computer, please let me know, you will have an exception.
2) A Tiny Pic or Imgur(sp?) is mandatory: If you don't have a Tiny Pic and your scenery glitches, there will be points deducted. If you do have a Tiny Pic, but the scenery glitches, no points will be taken off
3) Please describe your scenery: No body likes to see a scenery and not know what it's about! So make sure you describe your scenery, and include the Tiny Pic or Imgur in the comments!

Cycle 3 Winner!

Sam and Taylor,

Congratulations to both of you on making it this far! You both were faced with tough competitors, but beat them out! Thats how you got to where you are! So, had made this AMAZING powerpoint! Had amazing graphics, etc, and when I went to load it....the dang thing wouldn't load! Kept saying there was an error! You have no idea how devestated I was! I had spent an entire day working on it, and now I have to type it, and it will seem all plain and blunt :( Anywho, lets get on to the winner!

Overview for Taylor:

Wow! It is amazing to see how much you have progressed as a model! With every task, the judges and I could tell that you put your all. Like every human being, you had some tasks that weren’t what we were expected, but then the next task would reassure us all that Taylor was still in the game! Congratulations on making it this far Taylor! You deserve it!

Overview for Sam:

 From the very beginning, you were an outstanding model! Wowing us with your techniques, proving to us that you deserved this spot in the Finale! Sometimes, there were tasks that didn’t live up to what we all know you could do! When we pointed it out to you, the next task we could tell that you took those things into thought! Congratulations Sam for making it this far!

Congratulations Taylor! Your scenery was spectacular and you deserve to be crowned the winner of Cycle 3 Diamond_VIP. We'll see you next Cycle (since you will be a judge) and then you will be competiting for the ultimite title: Miss Diamond_VIP!

Sam, be proud! You're an amazing model and don't give up! Great job!

Cycle 4 Auditions are going on now, so if you want to be one of the contestants, audition! The auditions will be closed on Sunday, and I want ATLEAST 15 applications! More if possible! Sam, you're more than welcome to audition for Cycle 4 if you'd like!

Cycle 3 Task 7 Elimination Ceremony:

Taylor and Sam,

Wow, its come down to the two best in the competition, but the sad thing is, only one can win. Through out the competition, you both proved that you deserved to be in the Final Two. And we all see how that turned out! With every task, you both gave 100% and more, which is why I loved this Cycle! I'm going to critique you both, and tell you what I thought of your scenery and how your progressed as a model.

First up, Taylor:

Your scenery was amazing! One judge even stated that it made her want to go and buy the perfume! Thats when you know you executed it well. I personally love it! Your pose made me see how far you have come. It was a risky choice, considering that the dress was see through, and one glitch could have costed you. But everything went smoothly, and looks good. I liked the hair, but some of the judges didn't. You went for the long hair, the mysterious looking hair, and since SD offers none of that, you made your own! It looks good, and I think you made a good choice. However, there is one thing that some of us didn't like: the staircase. It was out of porportion, and just didn't look like it should be there.

Sam:

Very Good Sam! I love the idea of the name! (For those of you who don't know, its SAM backwords) Your pose looks great, you said there was a glitch, but I didn't see one! The outfit that your wearing goes well with the theme, doesn't look to lazy, or to formal. For the face, it was a good idea to have yourself smiling, you don't want to seem to depressed that your shooting an ad! On the left, you had a picture of the lipstick, and its 'reflection' below it! I don't know why, but I'm obsessed on how you did that! I think its really clever, and looks great! Now, the judges did get confused with the word ROUGE at the bottom. They had to read the description to see what it meant. When you're flipping through the pages of a magazine, you can't talk to the photographer and ask him/her what they meant when they put something there. So next time, just make sure that when someone looks at your scenery, they know why everything's there without having to look at your description.

Both of you have grown so much as models! I am BEYOND proud of both of you! Before I announce the winner, I guess I should tell you what prizes you will be recieving! (:

Task 7: Final Task

Well hello there. Hope you two are re-charged and ready for the Final task! This will be BIG! So, be ready and prepared, because you will have to FIGHT for the crown :)

Every time you go to a store, there are magazines, not just fashion, but cooking, house and garden, and for movies. In every issue, no matter what the theme is, there is always an interview. The stars have to be prepared, on some occasions, they know the questions, on others, they don't. When they are asked the question, they have a a few seconds to think, then must answer. Every word they say is put in, whether its an 'Uhmm....' or a laugh, the audience reads it. I'll give you a hint.....Start reading some Q&A articles  (:

Something that you also find in magazines, is......ADS. Yes, you see them all the time, and sometimes, to a point that you wish you didn't have to see them any more. But once in a blue moon, there is that one ad that makes you stop flipping through the pages, and you admire how detailed it is, or extravagant the ad is.

If you haven't gotten it already, Task 7 is going to be split into TWO. It will all be due at the same, but you have two things you have to do, in seven days.

Part One: Cinnamongirl, Gretelcass, Rach1225, and I will be interviewing you. Because we are all over the world, and in different time zones, we won't do chat (be thankful). They will ask you questions that they make up, I won't be giving them questions. You will respond within one day. That's all the time that you have to answer our questions. Be precise, and be accurate, because you never know where your answers might show up.

Part Two: I'm going to loosen the reins, and let this be a partly free task. You MUST create an add that advertises whatever you want. You could do makeup, your Star Designs, your own outfits that you made with objects, whatever it is. The free part is how you choose what to advertise. But, like always, you MUST include a pose, the more complex, the more points you earn.

All of this is due by: October 5th, 2011 a week from today. You don't have to do those in order, in fact, if I were you, I would do the scenery first
